The presentation program of the Khmelnytsky Center for Retraining and Social Adaptation, supported by the NATO Partnership for Peace Trust Fund, was launched on the 15th<\/sup> of February 2006.<\/p>\n

The program began with a meeting of distinguished guests from Brussels, NATO Headquarters, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Rector of Khmelnytsky National University Mykola Skyba, Director of the Khmelnytsky Center, Vice-Rector of the University Mykhailo Voynarenko, Chairman of the Khmelnytsky Regional Council Anatoliy Ovcharuk, Deputy Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration Serhiy Melnyk, Secretary of the Khmelnytsky City Council Mykhailo Vasylyshyn, , V.o. Commander of the Western Operational Command, Lieutenant General Viktor Tyutyunnikov, his Deputy, Major General Viktor Omelchenko, Commander of the Khmelnytskyi Military Garrison, Regional Military Commissioner Ihor Shulyakivskyi, Rector of the National Academy<\/em>\u00a0of the State\u00a0Border Guard<\/em>\u00a0Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, Major General Valeryi Raiko, vice-rectors and deans of the university invited guests to the Assembly Hall, where more than 600 people gathered, including reserve officers, as well as representatives of district military commissariats and existing military units of Khmelnytskyi region, students and teachers of Khmelnytskyi National University, National Academy<\/em>\u00a0of the State\u00a0Border Guard<\/em>\u00a0Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law.<\/p>\n

In 2006-2008, 564 people underwent retraining in the following specialties: “Business Management” – 196 people; “Marketing in the market of goods and services” – 119 people, “Logistics” – 41 people, “Computer technology in economic systems” – 91 people, “Computer systems and networks” – 81 people, “Graphic design and advertising” – 36 people. With the center\u2019s assistance, 337 graduates of the courses were employed (approximately 79% of the total number of graduates who do not serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine).<\/p>\n

In addition, the Khmelnytskyi CPSA participates in short-term courses funded by NATO’s civilian budget. During 2007-2009, two 100-hour courses were held in Lviv for 30 servicemen, which were held after intensive language courses, as well as five 350-hour courses in Ozerne (Zhytomyr region); Mukacheve (Carpathian region); Ternopil (Ternopil region); Slavuta (Khmelnytsky region) for 122 servicemen.<\/p>\n

In December 2008, a seminar was held in Zagreb to discuss the results of NATO projects, including in Khmelnytsky (Ukraine).<\/p>\n

On April the 28th, 2008, the NATO Partnership for Peace Trust Fund was extended to the Khmelnytskyi Center for Retraining and Social Adaptation of Servicemen and its expansion in Kharkiv.<\/p>\n

In 2009, 133 people underwent retraining in Khmelnytskyi in the following specialties: “Business Management” – 44 people; “Marketing in the market of goods and services” – 42 people, “Computer technology in economic systems” – 20 people, “Computer systems and networks” – 27 people.<\/p>\n

In April-August 2009, 63 people underwent retraining in Kharkiv in the following specialties: \u201cBusiness Management\u201d – 21 people; “Marketing of goods and services” – 17 people, “Computer Systems and Networks” – 25 people.<\/p>\n

In total, 2,129 people have been retrained in Khmelnytskyi and Kharkiv during the entire duration of the NATO Partnership for Peace Trust Fund, of which 1,139 have been employed.<\/p>\n

According to the NATO Civil Budget \u2013 NATO-Ukraine Military Retraining Program \u2013 1,160 people were retrained for the period of 2012-2020 years.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
