Under the NATO-Ukraine Program, training can be provided to professional servicemen scheduled to be discharged from the military within a year from the start date of the course and to professional servicemen who have left the military within 3 years prior to the start of the course.
Since 2015, in response to the crisis in eastern Ukraine, NATO’s Social Adaptation Program has expanded its admission criteria to include professional servicemen who have left the Armed Forces in the last 10 years from the start date of the course, become members of the ATO / OOS and are scheduled to exemption during the year from the start date of the course.
Expanding the recruitment and organization of training by concentrating target groups in their local residence and the use of modern online technology (in particular, Zoom Video Communications) has allowed to organize full-fledged retraining without leaving the place of residence of the most motivated, psychologically ready to learn new professional skills ; formation of a positive image of Khmelnytskyi National University and international organizations.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF CANDIDATES
Students of courses on a free basis can be:
– professional servicemen who are scheduled to be discharged from the Armed Forces / departments with military formations within a year from the date of the course;
– professional servicemen who have resigned from the ranks of the Armed Forces / departments with military formations during the last three years from the date of the beginning of the course;
-professional servicemen who resigned from the Armed Forces / departments with military formations within the last 10 years from the date of the course were members of the ATO, and at the beginning of the course: planned to be discharged within a year from the date of the course or have already resigned from the Armed Forces/ departments with military formations.
The soldiers who are discharged from military service this year and have served more than ten years are allowed to undergo retraining at the expense of service time.
Reasons for dismissal of servicemen from the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
– for years of service;
– by age;
– voluntarily;
– due to family circumstances;
– after the end of the contract;
– for health reasons;
– by organizational and staffing measures.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS
Preference for enrollment in courses is given to servicemen who have completed or are completing military service without having right for a pension.
The right to participate in the program is granted to servicemen only once.
Soldiers expelled from courses for various reasons are not allowed to re-enroll in the competition.
The first week of study is a probationary period, during which the student has the right to refuse to study for various reasons, while he has the right to participate in the program in the future.
Additional selection criteria form a high motivation of the serviceman in passing professional retraining and successful passing of the introductory interview.
